  • 10 ways to use digital graphics

Are you feelin’ the Summer Vibes?! I am so loving that it is summer. Of course, all that means is I still get up early to work every day (or almost) but my three kiddos are enjoying sleeping in, splashing in the pool, or lounging around. It creates a fun, summery vibe that I love being immersed in.

And while I am working on my business everrrday I wanted to quickly share the top email question that I am getting currently. And that question goes something like this: “I want to use graphics. They look fun – but what are some ways to use them?”.

When I get several emails of the same question, I take it as a sign that that is something I need to provide my audience. So, my dear friends, I have created a free download – 10 Ways to Use Digital Graphics. Plus it has some ideas on ways to make money using digital graphics. Woohoo. I do it every day. And you can, too. Want it? Get it here.

    All the best to you!

  • Facebook Facelift in Three Easy Steps

Let’s talk business. More specifically Facebook. I have three social media loves for my business – Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. But I get over 75% of my website traffic from Facebook. And, no, I don’t spend tons of money a month on Facebook ads. I do use Facebook ads because they work and they are relatively cheap but I also believe in harnessing the power of organic traffic. Because if I can find a way to do something free and it boosts my business – then I’m all about it.

Let me back up. Let me give you a little background on my business so you can get a visual. First off, Hey! My name is Kelli. I own Pink Lemonade Company with my sister, Melissa. I am a website and graphic designer and have been doing my thing since 2009. I also offer my (wonderful) clients help with their marketing, social media strategies, and building their own community of loyal customers. I am absolutely in love with my work and I can honestly say I look forward to waking up each morning and getting to work. Of course, it wasn’t always that way. But after a ton of hard work and busting my booty figuring out the business world, I have arrived at a place that gives me a life and business I love. I have 3 kiddos and that makes my business even more important to me. I didn’t want to be chained to somebody else’s office hours. I wanted to create my own freedom for myself and my children. So, darn it, I did. And I thank God every day for it.

So, I’ve done my homework and I’ve put in the hours. And what is the next best thing to building your own business? Well, for me, it is helping someone build theirs. I know how grateful I am that I am able to set my own hours so I don’t miss my daughter’s after-school events and I love that I can stop working in the middle of the day to go eat lunch with my youngest son. (Heaven forbid I ever show up to eat lunch with my old son. He is 15 and suddenly I am the most uncool person ever. Whatever. He doesn’t even know how I radiate coolness.)

I think I may have gotten off track. My point was there are things you can do to improve your audiences experience on Facebook (which improves your experience as a business owner). To get in on 3 easy ways to get your business to look its best on Facebook and take advantage of 3 prime spots of real estate on your Facebook business page download the guide now. It’s free. It’s fun. And all 15-year-olds think it’s super cool (from my experience in market research that’s not true at all).
