  • The Story Behind Sugar Baby

One of my grandmothers had a strong affection for light blues and soft aquas.

The other one loved pink. She even had pink carpet throughout her house for the longest time.

Between the two of them, they nurtured my creativity from a very young age.

When I would go visit them they would both let me sew pieces of scrap fabric, color and draw until my heart was content, and dig through the assorted treasures that they had collected over the years.

One of my latest graphics sets – The Sugar Baby Collection – is reminiscent of my love for each of my grandmothers. This collection is full of pastel hues, charming textures, and overall simplistic vintage whimsy.

My darling Nana in her cowboy hat.

When I was creating the graphics, I found myself thinking back to the slow southern days of being a little girl in each of their houses.

It would be so amazing to spend just one day with each of them – watching them sew and cook, and listening to them talk.

I would love to tell them about my business. And how much their influences can be found within it. I like to think they already know all about it.

I am so grateful for the love and all they taught me.

Introducing The Sugar Baby Collection. This collection can be found inside PLC Creative Living.

  • My Vintage Inspired Graphics Obsession

My obsession with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups is one I tend to hide. From my kids. Because I don’t want to share.

My obsession with vintage-inspired graphics is one I like to share with everyone. From the first moments of stumbling on to the magic of scrapbook-y digital graphics in 2006, I have no shame in my game.

I love creating them. I love using them. And trying to convert others into my obsession is something that I don’t hide. (Case in point my private Facebook group has over 2000 members currently).

So, in the spirit of sharing (or trying to get more obsessors in my ranks), I give you the video that sums it all up.

Want to get your hands on these FREE digital box full of graphics? Trust me, you do. These are good. Scroll on down, sister.

  • Digital Graphics Bonus Box

Hi. I’m Kelli. I am obsessed with digital graphics. If you can relate, read on. Or maybe you are new to the whole wonderful of graphics and digital design. If so, you should read on, too.

First off, so that this post makes sense to those who don’t know me, I run a graphics membership site for business owners (personal users welcome, too).

PLC Creative Living was launched in May 2017 and it has spread like wildfire. (So, so thankful for my members!).

We send out Bonus Boxes to our VIP members every month (sometimes more, sometimes less). I have had some ask me what a typical ‘bonus box’ looks like.

The September box contained over 50 files. You can see all the graphics and papers there was in the September box in the image above.

So, that’s that. I just wanted to give all those who asked an idea of what goes into a bonus box.

If you would like some FREE graphics along with some free articles and guides to help you with your business, check out the free toolbox below.
